Software developer and entrepreneur; founder of Baktam, co-founder of Nexorev.
Fatih Bilgiç was born in Adıyaman, Türkiye, in 2001. He moved to Istanbul at twelve, and his school years were spent between Istanbul, Gaziantep and Adıyaman. While continuing his education remotely, he taught himself software development and foreign languages.
He lost relatives and friends in Adıyaman in the 6 February 2023 earthquakes. After the earthquakes he built SURGUI, a disaster-preparedness app that works without an internet connection, and lived nomadically until February 2025.
Today he is based in Adıyaman. He is the founder of Baktam, management software for auto repair shops, which he develops by working one-to-one with repair shops in Türkiye's industrial districts. Since 2024 he has been a co-founder of the hotel revenue-management venture Nexorev. Alongside these he builds and runs web and mobile products such as Brainwave Generator, TaxCliff and Statecraft Observatory.
